Jimmy John's twitter reports that a sandwich eating contest for amateurs will be held at at The Fifty/50 in Chicago tonight. Milwaukee.decider.com reports Hall Hunt & Tim Brown will be the other two eaters Jimmy Johns' Milwaukee event tomorrow.
BacciPizza.com reports that it will sponsor a pizza eating contest at the Bacci Pizza Fest in Chicago on Saturday. $2500 in prizes will be awarded ($1500 to the winner). Entrants will need to qualify by eating three jumbo slices in under 20 minutes at a Bacci's location.

Eating challenges at Chicago ballparks

WGN’s baseball blog has a video of the giant Northside Twist pretzel available at Chicago Cubs games. The pretzel weighs 2 pounds (not 4 as previously listed) and costs $15.

The Sun Times reports that the Chicago White Sox offer a 2 foot long, 3 pound meatball sandwich for $26, which is only available in the premium sections of U.S. Cellular Field.
