Here are three restaurants that will appear on Outrageous Food on the Food Network on Saturday at 10 pm eastern.
- McGuire’s Irish Pub, Pensacola, FL – meal: “Terrible Garbage Burger”
- King’s Chef Diner, Colorado Springs, CO – meal: “The Thing” (5 pound breakfast)
- Pizza Machine Springfield, IL – meal: 60 inch pizza delivered by crane

Registration for the MLE eating contest at Ribfest Chicago on June 11, will open on Monday, April 19.

Bergg vs. Food reports that Bergg broke the record for the three pound "Triple Undisputed" burger at Weiner & Still Champion in Evanston, Illinios. His time of 13:50 broke the record set earlier this week by 21 seconds.
The blog for Weiner and Still Champion reports that Dan Pagliuzza set the three pound burger record with a time of 14:11, about half of the previous mark. Bergg will attempt to rebreak the record on Saturday.

Craigslist has a request for six people to play competitive eaters in a Chicago-area film shoot on October 22 and 23. Professional competitive eating experience is preferred, but not required. 30 extras are also needed for the shoot.

George Shea's twitter lists the field for Sunday's La Costena jalapeno eating contest in Chicago: "Dom Alesi, Craig Reed, John Palmgren, Bill Myers, Jim Reeves, Erik Denmark, Badlands, Sonya & Hall Hunt".
The RA Sushi locations in Chicago will host an eating contest later this month. Qualifiers will take place from September 15 to 17 and the finals will be held on September 23.
