Yahoo News has a gallery of the Armour Pepperoni with Cheese Eating Competition held in Austin, Texas. Pate Bertoletti ate 262 slices in 6 minutes competing against a team of Thomas Harrison, Randy Harrison, Chris Mastasio and Chris Floyd.
Bonnie and Clyde's Speakeasy in Waxahachie, TX (south Dallas area) will hold a hot dog eating contest (first prize $100) held in conjunction with a lingerie show on Saturday.

The contest is expected to start at 1:30 pm central time.
The MLE facebook lists Pat Bertoletti, Sonya Thomas, Erik Denmark, Randy Harrison, Gary Klucken, Yasir Salem and Mark Hansen as expected entrants in tomorrow's La Costena Jalapeno Eating Championship in San Antonio.
It has been over two weeks since Pat Bertoletti won the Wingstop wing eating contest in Dallas on April 13 and results have not been posted on the contest page on IFOCE.com. (Results have been added to more recent contest pages.) Bertoletti's winning total has not been listed on the IFOCE records page despite being more than three pounds greater than the previous record.
Sonya Thomas and Pat Bertoletti are expected to compete in the La Costeña Feel the Heat Jalapeño Eating Championship Challenge on Sunday according to a mySanAntonio blog entry.

Okie Burrito in San Antonio will hold a burrito eating contest on July 2 awarding $1400 ($900 to the winner). Weekly qualifiers will be held on Saturdays starting April 23 and award $150 to the winner in addition to a slot in the finals.
Eldorado Jack's in Montgomery, TX (north Houston area) will hold a wing eating contest on Saturday that will reportedly award more than $1000 in cash (prize breakdown not listed).

The restaurants will be Mallie’s Sports Grill and Bar in Southgate, MI (meal 100+ pound burger), Bad Boyz Bistro in Bedford, PA (meal hot wings) and Three Brothers Bakery in Houston, TX (meal pies baked into cakes).
