Matt Stonie's most recent defeat came at last year's Foxwoods turkey eating contest on November 22, 2014, so his winning streak now exceeds 365 days. This is the longest undefeated period in IFOCE/MLE since Takeru Kobayashi in 2001-2007. If Matt Stonie misses the shrimp cocktail contest in Indianapolis next month (he has not been listed as a competitor) he will have an undefeated 2015 (assuming no contests are added to the schedule). Stay Hungry follows Furious Pete on his journey from extreme childhood anorexia to a successful career as a competitive eater and YouTube celebrity. You’ll get a first hand look at the gluttony, manipulation, and hilarious antics of the competitive eating world. And, hopefully, you’ll learn a few life lessons along the way
I think Pete is the third competitive eater to have written a book after Natsuko “Gal” Sone and Indonesian Mariska Tracy.
