DiPiazza's Pizzeria in Grand Rapids, MI will award $500 to someone who can finish its 30 inch pizza challenge in under 30 minutes. ($225 to a pair than can complete it)
The Michigan Hooters wing qualifier will be held tomorrow in Roseville before the finals of the regional swimsuit contest that will award a trip to the finals in Florida. Expected entrants include Pat Bertoletti, Tim Brown, Meredith Boxberger, and Craig Reed, who expressed interest in competing in the swimsuit competition (Since he did not compete in the first round on April 18, he is probably not eligible.)
Meredith "Deep Fried Diva" Boxberger has produced a video about her first (and also last) place finish in the women's division at the Nathan's qualifier in Garden City, MI two weeks ago. update May 8 The Barrie Examiner has an article about Meredith, who was a figure skater for 15 years and now owns a Little Caeasar's Pizza franchise. She will be competing in the Hooter's qualifier in Detroit Saturday.

The qualifier is expected to start at noon and is being held in conjunction with a celebration of Kmart’s 50th anniversary (the Garden City location was the first Kmart and is now 50 years old). Will Pat Bertoletti break 50 HDB in honor of the event?

Pat Bertoletti, Meredith Boxberger and Ben Taylor are expected in the first 2012 Nathan’s qualifier in Garden City, MI on Saturday. Kevin “L. A. Beast” also says he will compete.
The next polls will ask which first-time Nathan’s competitors will have the best performances in the 2012 qualifiers. The current choices are listed below, additional ones will be added if requested.
