A clip of Moe’s Burritos for Life finals held at Georgia Tech Labor Day weekend has been posted to youtube. The clip supports speedeat’s report that Mike (Shelley) won the contest by eating 5.5 (or 6) burritos in 8 minutes (and disproves Dale Boone’s comment that Tony Rizzo was the victor)

The London (Ontario, CA) Free Press reports that an unnamed woman is in critical condition after choking at a mouth stuffing contest at the Western Fair. The objective of the contest was to stuff as many marshmellows as possible at one time into one’s mouth. Paramedics were apparently not present during the contest and had to be called in. This is the second tragic incident at a Canadian contest; a man died in a wing eating contest in Regina in 2004.
