The famous chili pepper eating contest at the Hornbill festival of Nagaland, India was held today. Israeli Netta Tdeclans won the tourist division of the contest. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the festival.

The Daily Mail reports that the XXX Hot Chilli Burger at Burger Off in Hove, Sussex has hospitalized five customers who have attempted to complete it. 59 diners out of 3000 have successfully completed the meal.

Aaron's Food Adventures has uploaded a video of Stephanie Torres attempting to eat what is billed as the world's spiciest candy.
The Riverfront Times reports that The Precinct in St. Louis (owned by former Cardinal Jim Edmonds) changed the name of its "Officer Down" hot wing challenge after disapproval from the local police department. The new name will be the "Hot Pursuit" challenge.
