The MLE Facebook reports that Joey Chestnut lost to a team of 5 amateurs at the Francisco Street Food Fair, 31 tacos to 27. TheCloveMan has a video of the contest.
Cip was one of the five amateurs. He ate 3 tacos and won $100 and a year’s supply of Pepto Bismol.

The facebook for the Bite of Oregon reports that Joey Chestnut will compete in a mini eating contest in Portland on Saturday, August 7. Contest signup will take place at the Bite of Oregon on August 6.
The Bite of Oregon is listed in the calendar on the Pepto Bismol facebook fan page along with the Austin Ice Cream Festival, The San Francisco Street Food Festival and the Buffalo Wing Festival. (No mention of an eating contest appears on the Street Food Festival’s website.)
The Austin Ice Cream Festival twitter claims that Joey Chestnut will compete at the festival on August 14. The contest web page makes no mention of Chestnut or IFOCE affiliation for the eating contest.
