Hello there! I am looking for competitive eaters in the Los Angeles area to participate in a live bit for our show (possibly tomorrow night). We are doing special shows for the NBA Finals and want to set up a competition… the catch is: they will be attempting to eat a basketball.

We are looking for 2 people to eat an actual basketball. The basketball will be shredded into little pieces. I don’t know of anyone who would be willing to do that since it’s not food.
IFOCE.com reports that registration for the August 21 gyoza eating contest in Los Angeles and August 28 Rocky Mountain Oyster eating contest in Black Hawk, Colorado will open Wednesday.
