Peter's Clam Bar in Island Park, NY will hold its clam eating contest tomorrow. Previous contests have awarded $1000/$500/$250; prizes for this year's event are not listed. Ed "Cookie" Jarvis did a promo contest for the competition yesterday.
The reboot for Man v Food hosted by Casey Webb will debut on August 7. The initial episode will feature New York City restaurants and the challenge site will be the Lunchbox in Staten Island. Other cities visited in the series include Milwaukee, Chicago, Houston, Billings, MT, Charleston, SC, Sleepy Hollow, NY, New Orleans, Portland, OR & Des Moines.

What is your favorite or most accomplished moment in activism or other DxE activity?
I would say my most accomplished moment in activism was when I was a part of the group that disrupted the Nathan’s hotdog eating contest. It went pretty much according to our plan and got a lot of media attention.
