Amarillo.com reports Molly Schuyler will attempt to eat 3 72 ounce steak challenge meals at the Big Texan in Amarillo, TX on April 19. She will face four teams of two, one of which will be Rich and Carlene LeFevre. Molly ate 2 72 ounce steaks in under 15 minutes in May 2014. update www.bigtexanevents.com and a press release have more info. Molly will win $5000 if she finishes all three in under an hour.

The official odds for Wing Bowl 23 have been released. The “Unknown Eater” is not listed as a local despite being billed as a Philly area resident during his qualification stunt. Some of the favorites:

TV Tokyo has a web page about Battle of the Big Eaters with pictures of the 4 person teams from the USA, Japan, China and Australia that faced off in Los Angeles last month. Molly Schuyler and Natsuko "Gal" Sone receive top billing. The program will be televised on January 1.
Molly Schuyler has posted a gallery from the recording of Battle of the Big Eaters 2 in Los Angeles last month. Her USA teammates were Pat Bertoletti, Dave Brunelli and Tom Gilbert. The Japanese team included Takuya Yamamoto and Gal Sone.
The 10 pound meatball sandwich at Bartolini's in Midlothian, IL was finished by Molly Schuyler in 7:57, breaking Pat Bertoletti's record of 9:20. Molly also set a new record of 2:13 for the Triple D pancake challenge at Rivers Edge Cafe in Sacramento.
The Wing Bowl website has been updated with the Wing Bowl 23 logo. Tickets for the Jan 30, 2015 contest will go on sale December 9 at 9am. According to a video by Team Subject to Change, Dave Brunelli was the top male at the New York City Dumpling Festival eating contest with 75. Wayne Algenio announced he was 3rd. The women’s totals are not included in the video. In a picture of the prize winners at the 5:13 mark, Molly Schuyler is holding a trophy and Stephanie Torres also appears to be a prize winner.
