Molly Schuyler will attempt to break two records this weekend in Des Moines: her mark of 4:50 for the “Emmenecker Challenge†at Jethro’s BBQ on Saturday and the record for five pounds of bacon on Sunday. update Jethro’s is looking for competitors to face Molly. udpate Mar 28 The Des Moines Register and KCCI have articles. A video of Molly’s appearance on Great Day Des Moines is also available.

Amarillo.com reports Molly Schuyler will attempt to eat 3 72 ounce steak challenge meals at the Big Texan in Amarillo, TX on April 19. She will face four teams of two, one of which will be Rich and Carlene LeFevre. Molly ate 2 72 ounce steaks in under 15 minutes in May 2014. update www.bigtexanevents.com and a press release have more info. Molly will win $5000 if she finishes all three in under an hour. Molly Schuyler will go for an undefeated calendar year at the hot chicken eating contest at the Music City Bowl in Nashville.

The Wing Bowl website has been updated with the Wing Bowl 23 logo. Tickets for the Jan 30, 2015 contest will go on sale December 9 at 9am. Molly Schuyler announced that she will defend her title. update Philly.com has information about the prizes: the overall champion will win $10,000 - and a Harley-Davidson, the overall runner-up will receive $10,000, the top local will be awarded a Chrysler 3000 and the top collegian will get a Chrysler 2000.

According to a video by Team Subject to Change, Dave Brunelli was the top male at the New York City Dumpling Festival eating contest with 75. Wayne Algenio announced he was 3rd. The women’s totals are not included in the video. In a picture of the prize winners at the 5:13 mark, Molly Schuyler is holding a trophy and Stephanie Torres also appears to be a prize winner.
