Furious Pete eats all Value Meals in 28 minutes for charity
“Furious” Pete Czerwinski announces in a bodybuilding.com forum thread that he will attempt February 13 a stunt in which he eats all Extra Value Meals available at McDonald’s, including fries and drinks, in under 30 minutes. A page on furiouspete.com has been set up to accept donations. Proceeds will go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada and Toronto Sick Kids Hospital. A video of the attempt will be recorded and uploaded later.

Krispy Kreme Challenge champion confusion
Full Results of Saturday’s Krispy Kreme Challenge race / donut eating contest have been posted on the event’s website. There were 5,519 participants. The announced winner on Saturday, Cameron Dorn, actually came in second behind Eric Mack, a member of the NC State track and cross country team. “Will Work for Food” CE episode reruns
The segment of Will Work for Food in which Adam Gertler competes in the Famous Famiglia pizza eating contest held last October will be televised at 9:30 pm and rerun tonight at 12:30 am and Sunday at 4:30 pm (all times eastern)
The segment will be available on the Food Network’s website if you are unable to watch it at those times.
San Benardino MLE cops vs. firefighters contest
The SBSun has an article about upcoming firefighters’ events:
In a quest to bring family fun to the city, Rubio said firefighters are also planning two other events for the spring and summer months.
One will be a monster truck and dirt bike race. The other plan is to sponsor a Major League Eating challenge at Cal State San Bernardino.
The eating extravaganza will apparently include a cop versus firefighter donut eating contest as well as burrito and hot dog eating competitions.

USA vs. Canada team burger contest preview
The Burlington Post has a preview of the burger eating contest between teams from from Canada and the United States at Philthy McNasty’s today. “Furious” Pete Czerwinski’s eating the 1.5 lb Showdown Burger under three minutes inspired the restaurant’s manager to sponsor the competition.
update Feb 8 Results have been posted. The US team won 83 – 82.33 burgers. Furious Pete ate the most burgers with 36 and also won an individual contest at the end of the team contest. Pete Maurizio lead the United States team with 31.
