The Food Network has disavowed Josh Denny, the host of "Ginormous Food", for his comments about the new Texas anti-abortion law and says his episodes will no longer be available. He is not the only food challenge show host to make controversial comments about abortion. In January 2019, Adam Richman called for violence against a Covington (KY) Catholic High School student attending the March for Life in Washington, DC.

According to the eatfeats database, Joey Chestnut has eaten 1364.5 Nathan’s Famous hot dogs in 22 public events (17 finals, 3 qualifiers and 2 exhibitions).
