The commercial for Wednesday's Sacramento Man vs. Food episode about the "Knucklehead Challenge" is now out. A picture of Jessica "Queen of Cuisine" competing in a Knucklehead eating contest appears in the clip.
Youtube has a video of Everett Heiden eating the Meltdown challenge, containing over 4 pounds of ice cream, at Scoops in Mountville, PA (the previous record was 17:51). He also set a record of 2:38 in the Diggity Dog challenge at Hot Diggity Dog in Lancaster.
Maria "The Incredible Sulk" has a blog entry about setting the house record of 21 hot dogs at Big Daddy's Hot Dogs in Pompton Lakes, NJ. Matt Stonie sets Manimal record

The facebook for Tradewinds Cafe in Arundel, Maine reports that Matt Stone set the record for the “Manimal” challenge. After completing the challenge consisting of 2 loaded kraut or slaw dogs, an “ocho” eight patty cheeseburger, a small order of fries, a can Moxie and a one pound milkshake in 5 minutes, less than a third of the previous record, Matt ate another kraut dog, a quarter pound burger, 3 chicken taquitos and 3 chicken quesadillas before the 20 minute time limit expired.

OneSweetKiss, Lance Thomas and Gordon Miller report that Joey Chestnut ate 30 Tijuana style hot dogs at Lucha Libre while in San Diego for the Mars bar contest.
MLive reports that the Rockford Corner Bar's "Not Dog" vegetarian hot dog challenge has received the first Animal-Friendly Eating Competition Award from PETA. A facebook group has also been started to encourage Man vs. Food to record at the restaurant.
MLive.com reports that the Rockford Corner Bar in Rockford, Michigan will start adding diners who eat 12 or more veggie dogs to its Hot Dog Hall of Fame, which currently has over 5,000 members. A contest will take place at 6pm tonight to see who will be the first veggie dog Hall of Famer. update Nicole Rowland ate 8.25 veggie dogs, the best of the initial challengers.
