A list of all the qualifier winners in the 2017-18 Nathan’s qualifier winners follows. Joey Chestnut, Matt Stonie, Sonya Thomas and Miki Sudo receive byes to the finals as previous champions. Steffi Valkov has said she will not compete. Additional entrants might be added to the final roster.

If Nick Wehry does not win today’s qualifier, he will be the first person to do 33+ hot dogs in a circuit and not make the finals. Previous competitors who hit that mark either won a subsequent qualifier or received the wild card. The previous high for not making the finals was Pat “from Moonachie” Philbin’s 32 in 2009.

The ESPN schedule for July 4 is out. The men's Nathan's finals will be televised live on ESPN2 at noon Eastern and rerun three times later that day. Fields for Saturday’s Nathan’s qualifiers have been announced: Jim Reeves and Crazy Legs Conti are expected at the St. Louis Cardinals ballpark while Steve Hendry and Mary Bowers will compete in Vallejo, CA. Katie Prettyman of Seattle will also compete.
This will probably make Gideon Oji and Yasier Salem the favorites for the final two qualifiers in Washington, DC and Queens, NY next weekend. Nick Wehry could be a dark horse.

From Patch Ryan’s twitch video, it appears Carmen Cincotti won with 50 hot dogs. Larell Marie Mele was the female winner.
Carmen Cincotti, George Chiger, Bill Myers, Larell Marie Mele and Rene Rovtar are expected to compete at today’s Nathan’s qualifier at Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, PA.

LocalSyr.com reports Geoff Esper won the men’s division with 45 hot dogs. From the picture, it appears there was at least one female entrant, so “uncontested” failed to defend the women’s division.
Geoff Esper is the favorite in the men’s division. We will see if “Uncontested” defends her Taste of Syracuse qualifier title in the women’s division.
