The team was allowed to bring their own alcohol, resulting in a drunken rampage in the streets of Durham following the contest.

  • UK: Adam “Beard Meats Food” Moran, Emma Dalton, Leah Shutkever, Marc
  • Japan: Hatsuyo Sugawara, Hitomi “Russian” Sato, Moeno Azuki, male I don’t recognize
  • Taiwan: Chien Shu, You Lin (?), Ming Che, Ya Lin

It is interesting that Taiwan got a team when competitive eating appears to be a lot bigger in other Asian countries (Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, …)
