Another Connecticut pizza challenge is available at Bang Bang Pizza in Norwalk. According to the restaurant’s facebook page, no one has finished the 22 inch pizza in the 30 minute limit and the only person to complete the pizza after the time expired is the woman pictured below:

(Via Greg Avola twitter) The commercial for next week’s episode (Hartford) of Man vs. Food is available on youtube and it reports that Greg “The Great Moomsi” Maloomian will be Adam Richman’s partner for the two person pizza challenge at Randy’s Wooster St. Pizza. Previous New England eating challenges by “The Great Moomsi” can be seen at Grippa69’s youtube page.
update This will be the second national cable TV appearance for a bodybuilding.com member in ten days. “Furious” Pete Czerwinski appeared on last Sunday’s episode of “Humanly Impossible” on the National Geographic Channel.
Man vs. Food in Manchester, CT tonight?
Anna Kowalski relays a rumor that Man vs. Food will be recording at Wooster Street Pizza in Manchester, Connecticut tonight, which Adam Richman did not deny.
The Hartford Courant has a report and gallery from Man vs. Food recording on Friday at Doogie’s.

Man vs. Food in Tristate area this week
Adam Richman is currently at the “Grease Trucks” on the campus of Rutgers University and will be attempting the 5 Fat Sandwich challenge at 5 PM today.

The twitter for Doogie’s Hot Dogs reports that Adam Richman will be recording there on Friday. Doogie’s is located in Newington, CT and no Connecticut episode is listed on season 2 episodes.
Eater X hangs a half a hundred in Hartford
IFOCE.com reports that Tim Janus became the third person to eat 50 or more hot dogs in a Nathan’s contest. Results from the report and Rich Shea’s twitter:

Eat The Meat III (CT wings) information
WPLR.com has information about the Eat The Meat III wing eating competition it is sponsoring. Two qualifiers will take place at Buffalo Wild Wings in New Haven on January 14 and 21 and the finals will take place on January 24. The first prize is $1,000. The rules state that entrance is limited to Connecticut residents who are not affiliated with a professional eating organization.

Bodybuilders take top 2 slots in beef patty contest
The top 2 finishers in yesterday’s beef patty eating contest at Meritone Family Festival in Connecticut can both be found in the bodybuilding.com forums. “Furious” Pete Czerwinski took first place by finishing 14 beef patties in 3 minutes and 14 seconds (video and pictures) and John Taylor, runner-up in the Nathan’s Hartford qualifier, was the only other competitor to finish his 14 patties in the 8 minute limit. Kara Walker won the amateur contest in her first competition.
