Joe LaRue attempted the gyro challenge at South Side 6 in Bowling Green, Ohio and believes he was given larger than normal gyros to make it impossible for him to win the $666 prize. Will Millender also attempted the challenge.

The bratwurst eating contest at Oktoberfest-Zinzinnati is expected to start at 3pm eastern. Joey Chestnut did interviews with WCPO, 700WLW and WLWT to promote the contest.
There will be two attempts at challenges which have never been completed today. Randy Santel will attempt the Ultimate Destroyer BBQ sandwich seen in the Kansas City episode of Man vs. Food and Scott Bickel will try to finish the 7 pound Dumpster burger at Cleats in Westlake, Ohio.
There is now another notable Mallory from Ohio in addition to Justine Bateman's character on Family Ties. In a column for the Bowling Green student newspaper about competitive eating, Amanda McGuire Rzicznek mentions that Mallory Roe, won $666 by eating 6 gyros in under an hour (gallery) at South Side 6.
