The Belfast Telegraph reports that the Hillsborough Oyster Festival in Northern Ireland has been canceled after losing funding. The event's eating contest had brought in MLE competitors including Sonya Thomas, Matt Stonie, Miki Sudo and Bob Shoudt. The faulty products are 14 ounce packages of “Nathan’s Skinless 8 Beef Franks†with a use by date of August 19, and 16 ounce packages of “Curtis Beef Master Beef Franks†with a use by date of June 15. The Travel Channel announces that filming will start this week for a new series of Man v Food that will debut in August. Actor and restaurant business veteran Casey Webb will replace Adam Richman as the host. In 2011, John Lomascolo won the Man v Food Nation Casting Call contest that was to have awarded him with an appearance in an Albany area episode that was not recorded before the series was canceled.
