Team USA appears to be represented by Bob Shoudt and Tom Gilbert. update Team Japan reportedly won its matchup vs. Shoudt/Gilbert Pat Bertoletti faced off against a blondish girl I had not seen before. update #2 Pat competed against Hitomi Sato. It appears Molly Schuyler faced off against Hatsuyo Sugawara.

John A. Ernst Jr. has been projected as the winner over Dale Boone in the Brookhaven, GA mayoral election. As of 9:46 pm, Ernst had a lead of 2,044 votes to 343.

James Carter, grandson of the 39th president, tweeted a link to a document claiming that Boone threatened Ernst supporters.

Joey Chestnut has been announced as a competitor in the gumbo eating contest in Larose, LA on November 7. Miki Sudo, Sonya Thomas and Adrian Morgan are also expected to compete. update Nate Biller, Crazy Legs Conti, Corey Fanguy and Matt Raible are also expected. Adrian Morgan appeared on WWL to promote the contest.
