The "Sports Guy" does not think the connection works since he claims to have never used cocaine, and "El Wingador" went to prison for drug distribution.

The Travel Channel will televise the debut episode of "Man Finds Food" tomorrow at 9pm EDT. The series was supposed to start in early July 2014, but was put on hiatus for almost nine months due to controversial social media comments by host Adam Richman.

  • He would like to see the release of Stick to Blogging 2 by Brian Seiken, which he claims is 50% finished

Hoss & Mary's, site of the "Manimal Challenge" in the Maine episode of Man vs. Food will close its Old Orchard Beach location on April 26 and set up a new restaurant in Key West, FL.
Kate Ovens reports that her attempt at a burger challenge was recorded. Emma Dalton also tried the challenge.
The LA Times did a post in 2006 about "All You Can Eat", a competitive eating screenplay by Josh Heald, writer of Hot Tub Time Machine 2, (The project appears to have been tabled; it no longer appears on Heald's IMDB page). To research the script, Heald competed in the 2006 Nathan's Las Vegas qualifier where Joey Chestnut became the first American to hit 50 hot dogs. (The post claims that a competitor at that event fainted and needed to be removed by stretcher, which is the first I had heard about that incident.)
The Hard Rock Cafe in Tulsa will hold eating contests on March 19, 26 and April 2 as part of its Brutus Burger Challenge. Adam Richman will host the final contest that will award $5,000.

Actress Donna Douglas passed away earlier this week. A 1962 Miami News article describes how she defeated the reigning champion at a pepper eating contest in New Iberia, LA before landing the role of Elly Mae Clampett on The Beverly Hillbillies. (She was hired to be a model at that competition).
