Don Sturdy has a blog entry and gallery about Jessica "Queen of Cuisine" Abdul Hussain's challenge attempt at Pho Garden in San Francisco. Jessica's server claimed that no woman has completed the challenge, which is contradicted by a challenge attempt report from March claiming a woman held the house record (30 minutes) at that time (Joey Chestnut has since broken that mark). update Aug 23 Don Sturdy has a gallery of the contest
The MLE Facebook reports that Joey Chestnut lost to a team of 5 amateurs at the Francisco Street Food Fair, 31 tacos to 27. TheCloveMan has a video of the contest.
Cip was one of the five amateurs. He ate 3 tacos and won $100 and a year’s supply of Pepto Bismol.
