A hot dog eating contest will be held at the Rialto Theatre in Tucson on July 3 awarding $500 to the winner. Qualifiers will be held on June 12 and 20.

Gideon Oji’s 16 hot dogs was the lowest winning total for a male for a qualifier held in the USA without entry restrictions in more than 10 years.
