Sonya Thomas vs. Notorious B.O.B.

According to the eatfeats database, yesterday’s Binga’s Tender Bender contest was the first time Sonya Thomas won a contest “Notorious” B.O.B. Shoudt competed in since the 2007 Buffalo Buffet Bowl contest. The victory gives Sonya wins over Bob in 2 out of 3 contests in 2010 after having only one win (at the controversial Atlantic City crawfish contest) in seven contests in 2009. PastThePages.ca has a column about competitive eating in which “Notorious” Bob Shoudt describes his exercise regimen:

“To date I have managed to work my way into being ranked number three in the world without having to train,” said Shoudt.
“Though, I am very active in my personal life. I routinely do a thousand crunches a day and I train three days per week in Krav Maga, a tactical defense martial art. I am also an avid mountain climber.”

Shoudt mentioned practising with the Big Angus burger in an interview on the Krystal Square Off blog.

Krystal Square Off blog started

The two most recent posts are about Sonya Thomas’ absence from the Chattanooga qualifier and Humble Bob’s hope to break the triple digit mark.
