The Melbourne videos show the prizes for male Australians being awarded with the other divisions, which appears to contradict the claim on CP Australia's facebook that an overtime period was held on a different day from the Melbourne qualifier.

This will be the fourth IFOCE contest in Broward or Palm Beach county in 2011 (Sweet Corn Fiesta, TooJay’s, Pompano Park Pickles and Martorano’s meatballs)

An article about the opening of BGR in Carrollwood, Florida repeats the claim that its 9 pound burger challenge has been used in an I.F.O.C [sic] eating contest.

A press release about “Suzilla” cites Suzanne French’s #4 position in the World League of Competitive Eating (WLOCE) rankings. Here is an analysis of the top 5 on the WLOCE home page:

  2. Takeru Kobayashi, has never lost to Dale Boone or competed in a WLOCE contest
  3. Ron “Cash” Clark, broke Dale Boone’s record for the challenge at Hillbilly Hotdogs in Huntington, WV (which Boone later regained)

A press release about Suzilla: The Mouth That Roars announces it will debut at 10:30 pm eastern on December 20 on the Planet Green cable channel. In the episode, Jerry Ferrara ("Turtle" on HBO's Entourage and one of the restaurant's co-owners) will compete against Suzanne French, in an eating contest at Fat Sal's Deli in Los Angeles.
Easy Street Bar in Dubuque, Iowa will hold a turkey & dressing eating contest on December 17 awarding $500 to the winner.
A new and apparently official Wing Bowl twitter is available at http://twitter.com/WingBowl20 and announces that Stacey "Eat-O-Rama" McCarthy has qualified for the finals by eating 10 items from the McDonald's Dollar Menu in under 10 minutes. (via Andrew Kossuth email)
