Rich and Carlene LeFevre are expected to appear on tonight's episode of "America's Got Talent" at 8pm Eastern / 7pm Central on NBC. update Collider has a post about the LeFevres' appearance. They did not advance to the next round. A video of the appearance is on youtube.

A trailer for "James Can Eat", a new documentary starring James Webb has been released. The film will be available on Amazon Prime and other platforms on August 22. I think James is the third competitive eater to have a documentary after "The Story of Furious Pete" and Crazy Legs Conti's "Zen and the Art of Competitive Eating". update July 26A clip of James discussing vomiting and the possibility of water intoxication is available.
Crossing Broad reports that a competitor choked and was hospitalized during Saturday's hot dog eating contest at Ducktown in Atlantic City held in conjunction with a Micro Wrestling card. EMT were fortunately able to prevent a fatality. (Reddit thread about the incident)

2025 ESPN Nathan’s schedule

The ESPN schedule for the men’s and women’s 2025 Nathan’s Famous hot dog eating contest is finally out. Joey Chestnut and Miki Sudo will have personal cameras. The documentary, “The Good, The Bad, The Hungry will also be rerun three times.

Pittsbugh Magazine has an article about Wildcat Championship Belts in Latrobe, PA, producer of the belts for Nathan'Famous hot dog eating contest.
Reuters reports that the government of China has called on citizens to "rationally resist bad content" of extreme eating shows due to food waste and unhealthy behavior.

Men’s Nathans contest on ESPN2, women’s not listed


The ESPN schedule for July 4 is out. The men’s Nathan’s contest will be televised live on ESPN2 at noon. The women’s contest is not listed, but will probably be streaming only since ESPN2 will be showing First Take from 10am to noon and ESPN will broadcast Wimbledon.
