Here are the head to head results for 2018 MLE contests excluding Nathan’s hot dog eating contests, which were excluded due to the women’s competitions distorting the rankings. (Juliet Lee, who only competed in Nathan’s contests in 2018, had the 4th highest winning percentage using all MLE contests). To be included in this comparison, entrants had to have at least two non-Nathan’s contests in 2018. The new poll asks who you think should be #3 in the next MLE ranking, Matt Stonie or Darron Breeden, assuming Carmen Cincotti is removed.

Molly Schuyler, Brandon "Da Garbage Disposal" Clark and Magic Mikey have produced videos of their attempt with Geoff Esper to complete the 54 inch pizza challenge at Big Mama's and Papa's in under an hour and win $4000. The usual prize for the challenge is $1000 that is paid if an eight person team finishes it in under 2 hours.
In his latest video, "Furious" Pete Czerwinski announces that he has been diagnosed with an elevated level of HCG, which can be a benchmark of testicular cancer. Let's hope he can get that down to zero soon.

Pewdiepie, owner of the youtube channel with the most subscriptions, produced a video criticizing mukbang eating videos focusing on the controversy that ensued when Veronica Wang flagged other Youtube channels for copyright violations. In the video, Pewdiepie claims "Americans ruin everything" (Veronica Wang is from Toronto). A reddit thread started December 24 has background on the feud between Veronica Wang and the now-deleted Shookbang channel, which produced parodies of mukbang videos.
