Big Mama's & Papa's Pizzeria has a video of Naader Reda and Aaron Ybarra attempting its 36 inch pizza challenge and Johnnie Excel, Tom Gilbert, Matt Stonie and Stephanie Torres attempting the 54 inch pizza.
AZCentral reports that the Heart Attack Grill in Chandler, Arizona is closed until at least June 15 and may not reopen unless a dispute with city planning officials about the restaurant's color of paint can be resolved. The Heart Attack Grill opened a second location in Dallas in May.

  • 6 minutes: Record finishing time by Joey Chestnut
  • Other announced sub 20 minute times: Ben Monson 12 minutes, Matt Stonie 15 minutes, Shawn Cochran 19 minutes
  • 38 minutes: Announced Women’s record by Stephanie Torres (This forum thread says her women’s record was broken in January, but does not give the name or time.)
  • 2: Most times finishing burrito by Aubrey (might be other unpublicized multiple finishers)
  • 3+: Number of female finishers
  • May 1, 2011: date of 42nd and final completion by Mark from California

Venezia's Pizza (several Phoenix-area locations) will offer its pizza challenge for half its usual price tomorrow.
