The Gage restaurant in Chicago will hold an oyster eating contest on Tuesday, March 19 which might award a trip to the Galway Oyster Festival in Ireland.

Sunday Sport has an interview with Lewis "Biggest Lew" Richards, the 10th place finisher in the Hooters wing finals and the subject of a segment in ITV's recent competitive eating documentary.
The Daily Mail has an article about the Man vs. Duck burger challenge available at the Duck Inn in Redditch, England mentioning Molly Schuyler at the end as a possible candidate for finishing it.

The YankeeStar Grillhouse in Coalisland, Northern Ireland is starting a 52 ounce steak challenge. The amount was chosen to have "an ounce for every american state".

“All You Can Eat” British documentary on youtube

All You Can Eat a documentary that was televised last week on the British channel ITV, can now be viewed on youtube. Featured competitive eaters include:

  • Pat Bertoletti (shows a training session)
  • Larell Marie (behind the scenes coverage of the Nathan’s finals)
  • Hooters Finals sponsor’s exemption Lewis Richards (Hooters contest coverage labels finalist Nate Biller as “Nasty Nick” and calls Sonya Thomas the defending champion of the first-time event.)
  • 72 year old Peter Dowdsewell (attempts 10 hard boiled eggs record)

The Ad Lib in Glasgow, Scotland is looking for women to attempt its Monster Burger challenge for a feature about slender and healthy female competitive eaters.
The Sun and Daily Mail have articles about the 150 ounce steak offered for £110 ($176) by The Duck Inn in Redditch, England. The restaurant also has a burger challenge.

ITV in Great Britain are running a documentary about competitive eating in the UK and USA titled All You Can Eat at 9 pm and 10 pm British time tonight. (Liverpool Echo article)
