Airtasker.com has a casting call for Australia's best eater. The winner will receive $1,000 and tour the country doing challenges at Menulog restaurants. The competition closes March 5 and entrants must be Australian residents. Menulog has a FAQ about the project.
The New York City Hot Sauce Expo will hold 7 spicy eating contests over April 21 and 22. $1000 will be awarded if the Guinness record for eating Carolina Reaper peppers is broken.

Pleasant, MI. The program will conclude the second season of the relaunch with Casey Webb; a third season with the new host has been announced. Randy Santel announces that he finished the 28 inch pizza challenge at Carmine's in Kerrville, TX and won $150. The restaurant opened solely for him to do the challenge. He did not win the announced $500 prize because Juan Neave claimed it on December 30.
The 36 inch pizza challenge awarding $500 that was to have taken place December 10 at the Watering Bowl in Denver has been moved to January 28.
