Yesterday, Bob Kuhns broke Jamie McDonald’s record for the 10 pound meatball sandwich challenge. Jamie McDonald later reclaimed the record with a time of 33:26.

Amarillo Magazine reports that Sarai, a female tiger, ate the 72 ounce steak (with no side items) from the Big Texan in 80 seconds on July 4, breaking the all-species record of 89 seconds. (Joey Chestnut set the human record for the meal with side items with a time of 8:52. I think Carlene LeFevre has the homo sapiens female record of around 30 minutes.)
