On March 20, Diontaye Gordon and Alex Burrel became the first duo to finish the Colossus Challenge at Greek Tony's Pizza and Subs afer 544 unsuccessful pairs. The pizzeria will award $1000 to the first solo finisher of the 30 inch pizza.
Qualifying for the 2015 Beef Bath Bonanza begins today. The fastest finishers of a 1 pound burger at Sylvester's Burgers locations on the central California coast will qualify for a five pound burger eating contest awarding $1000 to the winner.
The Highway 55 Big A Burger contest will take place at the NC Pickle Festival on April 25. An invitation has been made to Molly Schuyler to compete for the $2500 first prize.
Stephanie Wu announces she ate two 72 ounce steak challenges at Sayler's in Portland. She finished the first meal in 16:%2 and the second in 56:12. As far as I know, this is the fourth time someone has finished two 72 ounce steaks in a session. Two 72 ounce meals at the Big Texan has been finished three times: wrestler Klondike Bill (1966), Rich LeFevre (2000), Molly Schuyler (2014).

Molly Schuyler to attempt two records in Des Moines

Molly Schuyler will attempt to break two records this weekend in Des Moines: her mark of 4:50 for the “Emmenecker Challenge” at Jethro’s BBQ on Saturday and the record for five pounds of bacon on Sunday. update Jethro’s is looking for competitors to face Molly. udpate Mar 28 The Des Moines Register and KCCI have articles. The Telegraph and Argus reports Adam Moran was the first person in over 700 attempts to finish a giant naan bread challenge at Omar's Balti House in Bradford, England. Adam Moran has a facebook page and youtube channel about his eating challenges under Beard Meats Food.
Amarillo.com reports Molly Schuyler will attempt to eat 3 72 ounce steak challenge meals at the Big Texan in Amarillo, TX on April 19. She will face four teams of two, one of which will be Rich and Carlene LeFevre.
