Joey Chestnut ate 14 banana dogs in 3 minutes to win a competition held at Saturday's Savannah Bananas game in Philadelphia. The contest was held on the field while gameplay was taking place.

George Shea, Badlands Booker, Crazy Legs Conti and Miki Sudo appeared on CUNY-TV's "A Slice of New York" program to discuss Nathan's Famous hot dog eating contest.
The New York Post has an interview with Joey Chestnut about his return to Nathan's Famous hot dog eating contest. He also discusses his fiancee Brie, but says he has yet to set a wedding date. He says a guy from Montreal (most likely Australian James Webb) is his only threat.
