Results (Part 1 | Part 2) from today’s Benny’s Pizza Giant Slice contest in Blacksburg, VA. James Webb from Australia and Katina “Eats Kilos” DeJarnett make their MLE debuts. Katina was on the roster the the 2019 Fresno Taco eating contest which was cancelled after a fataltiy occured in a qualifier for it.

Joey Chestnut will do a "Meat & Greet" and serve as a celebrity judge for the cooking competition at the Bar-B-Q Block Party in Owensboro, KY on May 14. The event will not hold a mutton sandwich eating contest as it did from 2017-2019

Dan Kennedy ate 8 foot long sandwiches in 10 minutes to win the first prize of $1,000 in today's Cheesesteak Bowl in Broomall, PA. Molly Schuyler was the runner up with 7.75, her first loss since 2019. Dave Brunelli was the "amateur" winner.

In his latest video, Bob Shoudt discusses the training routine that enabled him to rise to the #2 spot in Major League Eating rankings, which sometimes included three daily training sessions before a major contest. He says that his regimen was dangerous and does not feel it is worth it.

Steve Keeley of Fox 29 reports that Bill "El Wingador" Simmons was arrested in Nebraska on January 26 for possessing a kilogram of cocaine and 254 pounds of marijuana after being pulled over on Interstate 80. The five time Wing Bowl champion previously spent two years in prison after a 2012 arrest for cocaine distribution. His next court hearing is on March 2.
